Beaphar Vitamin C for Guinea Pigs is a complementary feed for guinea pigs, suitable as a daily source of vitamin C. Guinea pigs cannot produce this substance themselves, so it must be given daily. Vitamin C is important for the skeleton, the teeth and the connective tissue. The vitamin C in the tablet is stable and does not dissipate; the orange-flavoured tablets are readily eaten.
- 180 tablets, each with 40 mg of vitamin C
Dosage: guinea pig under 1 kg: ½ tablet per day; guinea pig over 1 kg: 1 tablet per day. Double the dose for pregnant, sick or recovering animals. Preferably give in the morning.
Keep out of reach of children; store in a cool, dark place.
Composition: sucrose, glucose.
Analytical constituents: crude fibre 7.1%, crude fat 0.87%, crude ash 0.19%, moisture 0.84%, calcium 0.06%.
