Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Tailz.be website (https://tailz.be/) and the purchase of products from Tailz.be, located at Weertstraat 15, 3800 Zepperen, Belgium (Strategix CommV, VAT: BE1016.537.036). By using our website or placing orders, you agree to these terms.

1. Scope

1.1. These Terms apply to online orders via the Website for animal-related products (e.g., food, toys, care items).
1.2. Orders result in a purchase agreement with Tailz.be, with online payment and delivery.
1.3. Only consumers (non-commercial, adult individuals) may place orders. Resale is prohibited.

2. Definitions

  • Website: https://tailz.be/ operated by Tailz.be.

  • Customer: An adult consumer purchasing products via the Website.

  • Products: Animal-related items offered for sale, subject to availability. Live animals or insects are not sold online.

  • Customer Service: Available via support@tailz.be or by post: Weertstraat 15, 3800 Zepperen, Belgium.

3. Website

3.1. Website available in NL, DE, FR, EN. Communication in chosen language.
3.2. Use at your own risk; use implies acceptance of Terms.
3.3. Tailz.be retains intellectual property rights.
3.4. Tailz.be may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Website without liability.
3.5. Product images are illustrative; Tailz.be strives for accuracy but is not liable for errors or differences.

4. Customer Account

4.1. An account is required to place orders with correct information.
4.2. You are responsible for account security.
4.3. Tailz.be may suspend or terminate accounts in case of misuse.

5. Orders

5.1. Order: Tailz.be works via dropshipping with external suppliers. Cart and checkout form a binding agreement, unless major errors are found in supplier pricing or our pricing software.
5.2. Payment: Full payment at checkout via accepted methods (Bancontact, Payconiq, KBC/CBC Payment Button, Belfius, iDEAL, Visa and Mastercard, Apple Pay, Pay by Bank and bank transfer, via our payment provider Mollie), SSL-secured. Products remain property of Tailz.be until full payment. Risk transfers upon delivery.
5.3. Prices: Include VAT and other taxes, excluding shipping as displayed at checkout. Tailz.be is not bound to clear or unexpected errors.
5.4. Delivery: Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria and Luxembourg via external carriers to the provided address. Delivery times: To Belgium and Netherlands: 1 to 3 working days after we receive your payment. To Germany: 2 to 5 working days after we receive your payment. To France: 2 to 5 working days after we receive your payment. To Austria: 2 to 5 working days after we receive your payment. To Luxembourg: 2 to 5 working days after we receive your payment. Tailz.be is not liable for delays or incorrect addresses.
5.5. Shipping costs: To Belgium and Netherlands: €7.90 per order under €30.00 and €5.50 from €30.00, free from €49.00. To Germany: €12.50 per order, free from €59.00. To France: €15.00 per order, free from €69.00. To Austria: €15.00 per order, free from €69.00. To Luxembourg: €13.00 per order, free from €69.00.
5.6. Refusal: Tailz.be may refuse orders due to stock issues, large price discrepancies, fraud, non-consumer use, or resale. Refunds within 7 business days.

6. Legal Warranty

6.1. Legal warranty of 2 years for any lack of conformity appearing within two years after delivery. Defects must be reported within 2 months of discovery.
6.2. The warranty covers only defects that make the product unsuitable for its intended use or that do not conform to the description. Within 12 months after delivery, it is presumed that any defect already existed at delivery unless proven otherwise by tailz.be. After this period, the consumer must prove that the defect existed at delivery.
6.3. The consumer is entitled to repair or replacement. If impossible or disproportionate, a price reduction or contract termination may be requested for serious defects.
6.4. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, damage from external causes, or failure to follow instructions.

7. Force Majeure

7.1. Tailz.be is not liable for delays or failures in performing obligations due to force majeure, including floods, fire, storms, natural disasters, strikes, system failures, supplier delivery issues, or other events beyond Tailz.be’s control. In such cases, obligations may be suspended or terminated if necessary.
7.2. Tailz.be will inform customers promptly and make every effort to resolve the issue or deliver the products.

8. Liability

8.1. Tailz.be is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
8.2. Tailz.be is not liable for damage caused by: delays or non-delivery, stock shortages, website use, or incorrect product information.

9. Changes

9.1. Tailz.be may modify Terms; previous orders remain under original terms.
9.2. Invalid provisions are replaced to reflect the intended meaning.
9.3. Electronic communications may serve as evidence.

10. Complaints

11. Applicable Law
