The Utopia Robin/Blackbird Nest Box in Burnt Douglas Fir 20 x 28 x 18 cm is a wooden shelter for robins and blackbirds with a wide entrance opening, made of strong wood. The best place for a nest box is a quiet, sheltered spot with a clear flight path. Make sure it does not hang in full sun, and hang it high enough that cats cannot reach it. By putting the nest box up as early as the autumn, it can also serve as a shelter in winter. Burnt Douglas fir is known for its strong quality, resists UV radiation and is less likely to catch fire; it is a durable alternative to impregnated spruce wood. The best time to clean the nest box is in autumn.
