The Trixie Reptiland protective guard for terrarium lamps is a mesh guard for lamps in terrariums, so that reptiles cannot burn themselves on the lamp. Many reptiles, especially snakes and active lizards, like to climb around the heat lamp; direct contact with the lamp often leads to burns and other problems. The guard is made of powder-coated metal and fits exactly around the lamp. Thanks to the pull spring it is easy to open and close, for example to unscrew or replace the lamp.
