The Trixie Reptiland Heat Lamp 100 W is a heat lamp for reptiles with which you create a hotspot in the terrarium, with an E27 socket and UVA radiation. Reptiles are ectothermic and cannot keep their body temperature up by themselves, which is why extra heating is important for almost all reptiles. The lamp heats with a combination of infrared radiation and UVA radiation: the infrared radiation supports heat regulation and digestion, UVA stimulates natural behaviour and appetite. The lamp gives daylight in a white-yellow tint and is dimmable.
