The Trixie Reptiland Basic Sand Desert Terrariums White is a substrate for reptiles made of fine-grained sand without colourings or additives, for a natural living environment. Reptiles do best in an environment true to nature, which is what you imitate with this sand. The homogeneous sand is safe, it is ideal as a base for laying eggs and it encourages natural behaviour such as digging. It conducts heat well and is therefore also suitable with heat cables and heat mats. It is easy to scoop out and to sieve.
