Puur Natuur Nervo has been specially developed to support your animal in acute situations with loud noises it finds stressful. Think, for example, of the loud bangs of fireworks or thunder. Puur Nervo contains a combination of various calming herbs with which you can help your animal cope with loud noises.
The big advantage of Puur Nervo is that it does not make your dog, cat or horse drowsy or listless, because it contains no chemical substances and is made up of various herbs. Your animal therefore stays clear-headed, responsive and trainable.
Composition: Avena sativa, Passiflora incarnata, Humulus lupulus, Rosmarinus officinalis.
Dosage: unless a doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise, twice a day:
- Horse: 20-30 drops
- Dog: 10-15 drops
- Cat: 5-10 drops
1 ml = 20 drops. Shake well before use.
If in practice it is difficult to give this product several times a day, 1 time a day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. In that case give the maximum dose for one day. The product is still effective, but the response may take a little longer.
Once there is improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half of the dose stated on the packaging. Watch the animal’s response closely when dosing Puur Nervo. A higher dose may be needed at the start; this product can safely be given at a double dose. When there is improvement, gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible dose.
With some dilutions and extracts, a short-lived worsening may occur at the start of the treatment. This means the animal is reacting to the product. If it increases severely, halve the dose or stop temporarily, then build up again slowly.
Administration: give this product with a plastic syringe directly into the mouth, diluted with a little water if desired. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, because the product works better when it is absorbed by the clean oral mucosa. If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small treat.
Duration of treatment: in an acute situation the treatment is relatively short. It can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. Once there is improvement, continue giving this product for a few more days. With long-term discomfort the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to take a one-week break after every 6 to 8 weeks, so that the ‘stimulus’ can be offered again after the break. Resume the treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.
Interactions and contraindications: during pregnancy and lactation always use in consultation with the treating vet. To date no side effects of this product are known or have been reported.
Storage: avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of the reach of children. The best-before date is stated on the label and the box.
