The Bunny Nature Natural Meadow Hay is high-quality hay from Bunny Nature's unique meadows: tasty, complementary roughage for rabbits and rodents, rich in plants, flowers and herbs from untreated and unfertilised meadows in protected nature reserves. Hay is indispensable for good gut function and dental care. The delicious, long, crunchy stalks ensure correct wear of the teeth and a healthy gut.
The meadows are checked extremely carefully before mowing; mowing starts only once all the important plants are available and biodiversity is assured. The hay is not dried in the meadow but pressed straight away and dried gently with warm air in an environmentally friendly, CO2-neutral way, so that colour, aroma and nutrients are preserved. It is loosened by hand, put into hay bags and sewn shut.
