The Trixie Scratching Post Emil Light Grey 69 x 59 x 96 cm is a well-equipped yet compact scratching post for cats, with a relax basket and a den with vital cushions that give even pressure distribution. Scratching is a natural need for cats: it keeps their claws in shape and marks their territory. Offer your cat enough opportunity to scratch, for instance with this handsome Trixie scratching post. It has a trunk wrapped in sisal to scratch on, a scratching surface on the base, and is further fitted with a den lined in plush and fleece. The den holds a vital cushion of visco-elastic foam that adapts to the body’s shape, as does the padded platform on top. These cushions give even pressure distribution and so better sleep and an easier time getting up. For easy access to the platform the scratching post has steps. The sturdy, solid base plate gives plenty of stability. A scratching post with many possibilities that is still compact, and so also suitable for small spaces.
