Dosage: unless the doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise, twice a day: horse 20-30 drops; dog 10-15 drops; cat 5-10 drops (1 ml = 20 drops). Shake well before use. If it is difficult in practice to give the product several times a day, 1 x a day or 1 x every 2 days is enough; then give the maximum daily dose, although the response may take a little longer. Once there is improvement you can switch to a maintenance dose, usually half the stated dose. A higher dose may be needed at the start; the product can safely be given at a double dose. When there is improvement, reduce the dose gradually to the lowest possible dose.
Administration: give the product directly into the mouth with a plastic syringe, diluted with a little water if you like, preferably not at the same time as a meal, because it works better when it is absorbed through the clean oral mucosa. If the animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small treat.
Duration of treatment: in an acute situation the treatment is relatively short, from a few days to 3 weeks; when there is improvement, continue giving it for a few more days. With long-term discomfort the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. The product can be given permanently; it is advisable to take a one-week break after every 6 to 8 weeks.
Composition: diluted extracts of oats (Avena sativa), linden (Tilia) and passion flower (Passiflora incarnata). Alcohol 44%.
During pregnancy and lactation, always use in consultation with the treating vet. At the start of the treatment a short-lived worsening may occur; if it increases severely, halve the dose or stop temporarily and then build up again slowly. No side effects have been known or reported to date. Store dry at 5-20 °C, out of direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
